Hurricane Arthur makes landfall tonight in Shackleford Banks, North Carolina, USA. Winds are between 25-60mph with gusts to 90mph. Consistent wind within the eye wall is 100mph and the storm continues in a NNE direction. Several counties in North Carolina, NE South Carolina and Eastern Virginia are in a state of emergency and several power outages have been reported. The storm has also been upgraded to a Category 2 hurricane. We will continue to update you as this storm moves along the East Coast as well as damage reports.
